I can hear Dinah Shore now, "See the USA, in your Chevrolet"! Hat's off to you for taking the trip that many of would love to take, but don't have the guts! Have a safe one, and keep the pictures and stories coming!

Tupelo, Mississippi --Elvis Presley Birthplace and where he lived until he was 13 years old. Did you know he was one of twins? The other died at birth?
The 37' Plymouth in the background is green and was the family car living there from 1935 to 1948. The church was the center of his life there and music was the center of the church.

Cash for Clunkers is actually a lie by our legislators. There is NO CASH invalved. You get a CREDIT on a new car which allows you to go in debt for $20,00-40,000.

Attn: Marie Becker

Dear Marie,

I was next to you at the boutique at O'Conner Woods in Stockton in the fall and you invited me to participate in the boutique for the car show in Sacramento in October. I am very interested, and would like more information.

First of all the actual dates, so I can clear them on my calendar. Next, I need to know what I can do and can't. I think you mentioned you already have someone who does aprons, so that is out. Does that include children's aprons. I do the fabric books and bowls and also have table runners, dolls and mostly fabric art. My daughter does greeting cards, but I think you said you already have someone doing cards, is that correct? Anyway, I would like further information and where we go from here, so I can start getting busy. Don't want it to slip up on me and be unprepared.

Thanks for your help, Carol
